- 2013 – Aftermath of 2013 Boston Marathon bombings: A police officer is shot dead in the early hours of the morning, before one of the suspects is killed in shoot–out with police, after which a lock–down is enforced in Boston. The second suspect is later arrested after a stand–off in the Watertown area of Greater Boston.
